heya guys!

well you will all be please to know that our day has been lovely today! we both are now enjoying ourselfs and have a had a really nice day!! our evening last night was lovely and spent the night with an old school friend zoe who now lives in bangkok she made us both much more reasured! although our day didnt start off to good with us both waking up at 1.30 this morning after an hours sleep as we were both worring about our trek! we were both were very honest with each other and admitted that neither of us were ready for this! after both agreeing to sack it off we felt like a wait had been lifted of our shoulders! im sure we will be soo much more ready for something like this once we are settled! we couldnt sleep after this and decided to go out for a drink! we were both sat enjoying a nice diet coke when a rat ran past our table!!! disgusting! we decided to come back and chat to some of you lovely people again which ended with me in tears agin after speaking to adam! i definatly need to man up! we both went back to our room where we at up chatting till 6am the time we should have been getting up for our trek! we both feel asleep and woke up at 2 this afternoon and felt refreshed happy and ready to go shopping. we got a taxi to MKB the big shopping centre which is absolutly enourmous and a lot to take in! we even treated ourself to a pizza hut! very thai i know! after a 4 hour shopping trip which resulted in us buying nothing but a usb stick... very suprising for us we headed to the taxi rank! when we got in the taxi and asked to koh san road the taxi driver looked at us in shock and advised us not to go back there yet as the protesters had moved in closer and all the roads had been shut and it would take us at least two hours to get bk bearing in minds its about a 20 minute taxi ride! he took us to the night market where we went to a lovely resturant and enjoyed a couple of large bottles aof chang! we hjad a lovely chat about at home and left feeling so much better about evrything and so excited for the next part of our trip! we strolled around the nigfht market dfor an hour and then decided to go for some dinner! well we both ordered the nicest meal we have had since we arrived and left really full and happy! we went and got a taxi which took us back to nearby before doing a swift U turn and telling us we would have to walk from there! we ended up in the middle of the protest and had to cross through it to get back! we were hardcore and braved it and gave each other a big high five when we got to the other side! you wouldnt have caught us doing that 2 days ago! all in all a really good day and really positive feelings about tomorow when we fly to phuket and really looking forward to some of the cheltenham lads coming out and seeing a familiar faces!! we have definatly grow a pair..........
