Day 3-6:

Day 3 - 25/03/17
We arrived in Orange Walk Town on the bus and immediately checked into Akihito Hotel. After settling in we took a walk around the town before having lunch. After lunch we continued around the town before returning to our hotel and crashing for the night.

Day 4 - 26/03/17
We had an early start today as we were heading to Lamanai. After being picked up at our hotel we were driven to our starting location for our excursion with Lamanai River Tours. During our boat ride up the river we saw heaps of wildlife including a monkey, which came right up to our boat, a crocodile and heaps of birds. After an almost two hour boat ride we arrived at Lamanai. On arrival we ate lunch before setting out to see the site. The site was incredible and is soaked in history. We saw multiple temples including the Jaguar Temple, the Stela 9 Temple and the High Temple. We were able to climb all three temples with the High Temple being 125 feet tall. We also saw a ball court while we were there. After exploring the site we were taken back up along the river and returned to our hotel. Shortly after we set out for dinner before returning to our hotel and crashing for the night.

Day 5 - 27/03/17
After sleeping in through the morning we eventually set out for lunch and a stroll around the town, before returning to out hotel. After a while we set out for dinner and ended up at Tan's Pizza where we had a delicious pizza. We once again returned to our hotel where we crashed for the night.

Day 6 - 28/03/17
After an early wake up it was time to say goodbye to Orange Walk Town and catch our flight to our next destination.
