Brisbane was lots of fun. We met up with Mark so we had a couple of nights out with him and his mates! He also took us to Australia zoo which was AWESOME!!! I'm so annoyed Steve swam over that stupid sting ray. I held a koala, stroked a kangeroo and fed a carrot to an elephant. It was cool but my hand was covered in elephant boggies! errrrr! We spent a lot of time sunbathing at the man made beach. Nice to have no sharks or jelly fish to worry about.

Byron Bay is great! To be honest we spent a lot of our time in a great bar called cheeky monkeys. We drank by night and sunbathed by day! Brilliant! I won 3 free drinks for being clever in a triva game there! We walked to the most easterly point of Australia.

On the way to Byron Bay we stopped for the night at a surf camp (not to sure exactly where we were though). It was an early start. The surf lesson began at 7:00am. It was so much fun. I was completely rubbish. I managed to stand up for an impressive 2 seconds, however I got pretty good at kneeling on the board. Sydney is great!! The night we arrived we went on a cruise around darling harbour (along with 300 other drunken people), the views were incredible! After that we headed to a club called the Gaff for a night out. We booked the bridge climb and accomodation at a better, cheaper hostel. After that we headed to the Aquarium. The 3 day trip to Sydney was loads better than I thought it would be. We stopped at Wilsons Promontery (national park) and saw kangaroos and emus straight away. After that we drove to a gorgeous beach and spent a couple of hours there. I got a bit burnt. The next stop was called the Lakes entrance (stop over for the night). We had really nice fish and chips for tea and then walked to see the 90 mile beach. Very early start for our drive to Mount Kosciusko/Thredb...
