So it was over to the west coast and before heading to Glacier Country, we stopped for a night in Jackson Bay which was touted in the book as being at the end of "one of the world´s best drives". Well we don´t really think these guide books have got it right as the drive wasn´t that spectacular. And they seem to have missed something vital... Time for a bit more tramping in the Mount Cook area. Another sunny day and amazing views of New Zealand's highest peak. Anton has decided that he should be a leg model what with his calves getting more shapely with every trek. I have decided that I really need to ditch the beige walking trousers that can adapt to be cropped as it's really not a good look. A bit more freedom camping later by Lake Dunstan before a spot of mountain biking along the Old Gold Rail...

So we arrived in New Zealand and got straight onto the adrenaline stuff in the bungee crazed town of Queenstown. And before you get excited, no we didn't boing at the end of an elastic band. Instead we opted for a jet boat ride getting soaked whilst doing 360s in ridiculously narrow canyons. Awesome. Getting used to signing those disclaimer thingeys.
