Hello! The last few days have been really good but also quite s***! We left Bangkok on Friday and had a 11 hour train journey to this place I cannot remember the name of! We had to sleep on the train, it wasn't too bad although some people decided to get pissed and kept others awake! We arrived at 7am Saturday and had breakfast before taking a 2 hour drive into the jungle. We stayed at the Arts Riverside Lodge on the Kho Sok National Park and it was amazing! Right on the river, in the middle of nowhere, we stayed in bungalows and they were really nice and had mozzie nets too. It was so dark at night but cool. We went tubing down the river on rubber rings and we saw a snake in the tree, monkeys and fish. That night I did a jungle trek - can you imagine me trekking through the jungle in Thailand with a torch! It was great though, we saw a Lima, frogs, grasshoppers, spiders and moths. Nothing too scary which was good. We got soaked and were filthy, we had to walk through a swamp at one point and I slept and fell on my arse! On Sunday we did the elephant trekking - I didn't think it was worth the money at all because I had already done it and the place wasn't nice at all. Bali was a lot better!! We went back to the lodge for lunch and I had a sleep then an oil massage - my 3rd massage of the trip! Then went over to the bar for happy hour and a Jungle Juice! It was raining on and off all day and I slipped over in front of all the staff - they were there straight away and picked me up and cleaned me up, I've cut my knee, elbow and toe and was soaked! I asked Charlotte to go and get me a clean top but she wouldn't so that just topped off what I had been thinking! More of that later....anyway, I was fine and didn't cry! I ended up getting so pissed and got to bed at 2.30am. The girls on the trip are wicked, there's a couple that aren't my type but most are cool!!! I woke up this morning with a fat hangover and we had a two hour drive to Krabi. I asked our tour leader last night if I could share a room with someone else for the rest of the trip as I was getting pissed off...I told her and we had words and haven't spoken since. Apparently I have problems....hmmmm very rich considering I think!! So I am now sharing with Anna from Austria who is mad, funny and up for a laugh, unlike miserable face. Today we looked around Krabi (Anna, Aleesha from Oz and Aleesha from Canada) had lunch, then walked along the beach. We all had our feet scrubbed, manicures and pedicures for around 5 pound each. Tonight we're going to a night market to try the food!! Tomorrow is the island tour, Phi Phi!! Cannot wait! My plans are changing slightly. I am trying to change my flight and go to Borneo with Anna for a week before flying to Cairns where Carl is meeting me!! I am so excited and we're going to have an amazing time, it'll be nice to share it with someone special and fun. I haven't been enjoying myself half as much as I should be and it's because of the person I am travelling with so I'm going my own way. I've enjoyed myself so much more when I'm with other people or without her so it's the best thing for me x x x x x x
