The last 10 days have been so hectic! We're now in Malaysia - we left Thailand on Thursday, had a 5 hour train journey plus a 4 hour car journey, not good! We got to Penang at night and I had a shower and went straight to bed. Friday we did some sightseeing, the biggest Buddhist Temple in South East Asia which was impressive and some Chinese man's mansion, can't remember the name. That night we went for an Indian which was nice. Wasn't that keen on Penang though, we were staying right near a mosque so we got woken at 5.45am every morning with the prayer! We left there at 7am Saturday morning and drove to the Cameron Highlands which was a 6 hour bus journey. The scenery was lovely but the drive was so windy and the bus driver wasn't sure on gear changes! It was so cool in the Cameron Highlands compared to everywhere else. We went to a strawberry farm and we had chocolate covered strawberries and then to a tea plantation for some tea! Then a butterfly farm with all sorts of insects and animals. It was one of the girls birthdays yesterday so we went out for a Chinese then back to the guesthouse where a few of us bought some vodka and mixers and got the IPOD out and had a laugh and listened to music. Today we had a 5 hour bus trip to Kualar Lumpur although the bus was so comfy, reclining seats so most of us slept! Our hotel here is nice although we have no window! Today we've been to the Islamic Museum and the Lake Gardens but it's so hot and I am exhausted that it just bored me! So having an early one tonight and making the most of tomorrow.
