Am I glad that I got out of Tauranga!  Although I did have a laugh I was glad to leave.  I stopped in Auckland for one night on Sunday and stayed in a hostel that was more like a hotel!  It was apartment style with 2 bedrooms and I had a room all to myself.  There was a shared bathroom and kitchenette and it was quite modern.  I left there at 8 on Monday and it was raining like never before.  I had a 4 hour bus trip up to Paihia with a screaming brat all the way (why do they never get off when you're stuck on the bus with them?!).  The hostel I am at is really nice and clean and near the shops and restaurants.  I shared a dorm with a nice girl called JAckie on Monday night and we drank red wine and chatted but she moved on yesterday.  So I used one of the free bikes at the hostel and rode around town for a bit.  It was raining on and off so I came back and watched some DVD's.  Today I have walked for miles!  I walked to a place waterfall which was around 2km to walk to the start of the track.  The actual track was 5km each way and it ran along the bay and through the forest, was really pretty.  There was a bridge to cross across the water and then through the magroves.  The waterfall was really pretty and it took me around an hour and a half to get there and just over an hour back.  My legs feel like lead now!  I treated myself to some chips and walked back along the water.  The weather has been really nice today.  Oh, I found out that the place I am staying at in Fiji is where they filmed Celebrity Love Island, so looking forward to seeing what that is like! x x x x x
