I had a really lazy start again today trying to catch "Happy hour" on an airline website to get a cheap flight to Cairns - I wasn't lucky this time. After this I decided to wander to the Botanical Gardnes, on my way I ended up at a war memorial building which again had a museum inside, I wandered around for a bit and there was a stone of remeberance insie "The Crypt" whilst I was there they passed a light over this stone, on the 11/11 they open up a whole in the roof of the crypt and let the sunlight pass over this stone - ironically enough it takes 11 minutes for the sun to cross the stone! I clombed to the balcony of this building for some pretty impressive views over Melbourne, there are some seriously crazy looking buildings in this city! After walking around in here i headed to the Botanical Gardens and purposely just allowed myself to get lost. The gardens were pretty beautiful and I found a bench by the lake and sat and read my book for a while, it was a lovely chillaxed "I'm a traveller and don't have to do anything" kind of day! :D headed back to the hostel and had a pretty lazy evening, watched some tv and finished off a really good book! The dippy receptionist gave me $60 worth of internet credit instead of $10 - Good times!!! :D I will be glad to leave this hostel tomorrow as there isn't really anyone here for me to talk to - going a little insane and have found myself talking to myself.....!
