It's so good to be back in Sydney - I really really love it here and it makes me happy! :)

The overnight bus from Melbourne wasn't tooo bad although I do have a bruised back from trying to sleep on the armrest! When we arrived in Canberra at 6.50am it was -3oC I didn't even know Australia could get that cold!!!!!! On the final stretch of the journey up to Sydney there was a frost and the scenery looked really really beautiful.

After having the most grumpy receptionist EVER check me in I went down to the harbour and went for a nice long walk in the gardens - allowing myself to get lost again! This time I found the bit where all the bats "hang out" there were HUNDREDS of them - mostly just hanging there but some flying around and making loads of noise! Had an unchatty dorm this evening so had a massive backpack sort out and planning sesh!
