I had a bit of a mamouth trek this morning using buses, trains and my feet to transport myself, my day bag, my backpack and my food bag from Yha central to Bondi Beach, but I got here!!! The hostel is really nice - one of the ones that has a homely feel to it - not many staff and they are all really friendly and always up for a chat. It was sunny outside so I decided to make the most of the nice weather and head for the beach. There were LOTS of surfers in the water - the beach itself had a few scattered people sunbathing and a fair few people walking/jogging along. It reminded me a little bit of Weymouth but without all the tacky shops - in the summer I can imagine it would be rammed with people! I walked all along the beach and then decided to enjoy the sun for a little while before realising it was actually quite windy and heading back to the hostel. I had a lazy evening again - this travelling lark makes me so tired!!!!!! Today I blame it on having to lug my backpack across Sydney! It was typical that platform 24 where the train went to Bondi Beach was the furthest away, down 2 escalators and Bay A where the bus to Bondi Beach waited was at the farthest end of the bus station! Boo!
