Well i am back where we started!! Been a good six weeks but is also good to be sttled for a while somewhere. No more night buses for a while! Arrived on the 11th and caught up briefly with Elliot before heading out with the Aussie boys from Halong Bay, they had seen Elliot in Pnom Penh and stayed at the Rosy guesthouse with us.

Next morning i started at the green gecko, have done 5 days there now and i love it. The kids are great, to spend some time with them you wouldn't know they have such sad stories in their backgrounds. All a bit of a handful but with a lot of enthusiasm! The first day they threw me right in at the deep end with the littl ones for their English class. Having never taught before had no clue of what to do!! Managed to get a few words out of them but soon descended into chaos, they don't have desks so is very hard to keep them in one place!! Thankfully a Dutch girl arrived the next day who has a lot of experience with kids so i have been helping her with the lessons. Am picking up a lot but definitely helps to have someone who knows what they are doing. Am enjoying it a lot though and they have made some progress already which is good. Have plans for some art activities to do with them which should be fun. Will keep you updated but am so glad i decided to come and do this here.
