Had a great couple of days in Vang Vieng. The countryside is beautifully picturesque and the locals very friendly and chilled out. After leaving there i headed straight down to Don Det, one of the four thousand islands in the Mekong at the very bottom of Laos. Life down here has a very chilled out feeling and they have trouble moving at anything more than snails pace!! Indeed we had to wait for an hour and a half in one restaurant for them to bring the meals out ...

Haven't written for a while because quite frankly, i have been having way too much fun!! That and the internet is more over here...have spent the last few days in Vang Vieng in Laos which i love. The place is absolutely stunning and so laid back. A total breath of fresh air after hectic hanoi. The p[eople are amazing as well, so chilled and friendly, and not so cynical as the vietnamese. Took a little while to get here - the bus broke down for a few hours but...
