ok so time for a belated catch up sorry! We took the bus from laos (vang vien) all the way to hanoi, took about 29 hours and wasnt pretty! we were supposed to be on a vip bus, not exactly the case...only 5 westeners and a load of locals! the back of the bus was tken up with bags of shrapnel, nuts bolts plates and god knows what else, the bus stopped every half hr or so to offload some more stuff! so much money was exchanged at the border that something dodgy mu...

ok time for some updating! the full moon party was amazing! there was a HUGE thunder storm in the evening, the sky looked incredible with forked lightning, was so intense that all the music and everything died ecoz of a power cut! only lasted for a few mins tho! so we danced the nite away in our glow paints in the rain! was incredible! laste til 8 am so saw the sunrise which was gorgeous! we stayed for one more nite and then caught the ferry over to koh tao. we...

are now in koh phangan. Spent about 5 days in vang vien in loas which was incredible. ok so have niow arrived in Laos at a place called luang Prabang. Took 2 and a half days to get here from chang mai. !st a mini bus to chang kong on the border, then a 2 day slow boat to here. have arrived safe and sound in Bangkok and have picked up bethany. Stayed in a pretty grim hostle the 1st nite bt was only 300 bhat and had a bed and air con so did the job! found a far nicer place for this eve with a pool on the roof which is very handy in the extrme heat.
