are now in koh phangan. Spent about 5 days in vang vien in loas which was incredible. The scenery was jus breathtaking! i bet it goes unnoticed by many of the people tubing tho!! the tubing was so much fun...bascially sit in a big rubber ring and float down the river and get dragged in to various bars! our favourite was the mud bar, serioulsy muddy! mud pool that comes up to ur shoulders which we went in several times (not always by choice!!) then a dance floor up on stilts which was awesome : ) met some really nice people, and also bumped into a couple that we had met on the nite train from bangkok to chang mai, was really nice seeing them again, we get on so well : ) After vang vien we got a nite bus down to bangkok, one day in bagkok thenm another nite bus down to koh samui! was a pretty long trip but actually managed to sleep on the bus so not too bad and defiantely worth it! spent 2 nites in koh samui, managed to find a really quiet resort, lots of really nice hotels (not that we were staying in them!!) along a really quiet beach, and gorgeous little restaurants : ) was so nice jus to chill after a pretty manic week! spent 2 nites there and met a couple of girls who we have continued traveling with. We have now arrived with them in koh phangan. found it pretty hard to find anywhere to stay coz its so busy for the full moon party. Have found an amazing bungalow tho, right up on the cliff overlooking the entire bay, its so cute!! we do however have a resident lizard who lives in the bathroom, he's HUGE!! found him in our actual room the other nite which was a shock! but he seems to pretty much keep himself to himself so its ok!! bethany is a little weary bout it n i have to check the bathroom be4 she will go in! have been to a pool party which was so much fun, so many people were in the pool, it was a pretty manic nite, didnt get in til 5am n the music was still blaring til 6! its the actual full moon party tontie, cudnmt b on the nite of the actual full moon coz of a buddist festival, so is tontie instead! have got our glow paints ready, am so excited! we are goin to koh toa in 2 days time, hopefully will do our diving course there, and then down to koh phi phi top chill some more!
