ok time for some updating!

the full moon party was amazing! there was a HUGE thunder storm in the evening, the sky looked incredible with forked lightning, was so intense that all the music and everything died ecoz of a power cut! only lasted for a few mins tho! so we danced the nite away in our glow paints in the rain! was incredible! laste til 8 am so saw the sunrise which was gorgeous! we stayed for one more nite and then caught the ferry over to koh tao. we got speaking to a guy on the boat about diving, and sorted out to do our open water diving course at a place called bans. we had had several reccomenations for this place so went ahead and booked it. we arrived at about 3 in the afternoon and were inclass by 5!! we hadnt realised that there was gunna be quite so much work invloved but was soooooo worth it. the following day we did our first controlled water dive in the swimmin pool then moved onto the sea!! dont think we were supposed to but we had a cool instructor!! then did 4 more dives over the next 2 days goin to depths of 18 metres! had to do an exam as well but at the end of it i am a certified diver which is brilliant! after koh tao we went to phi pho the journey was a bit of an adventure!! we ha tickets for thew nite ferry which had beds and everything, but when we arrived the boat was full!! was absolute mayhem, but we really wanted to leave so agreed to sit cramped on the floor for a good 9 hrs!! managed to stretch out and lie down and get some sleep but the sea was so rough becoz it was stormy!! so quite an experience! our next boat from Krabi to phi phi was even worse!! so much so that we had to abandon ship and change onto another becoz ours was sinking!! they came out with life jackets so we wonered what was going on, then another boat arrived and we all had to change over!! was so funny! definatey made it an adventure!! but arrived to phi phio eventually safe and sound! checked ionto some really cute bungalows on the beach and stayed there for 4 nites. we went kyaking to monkey beach wherer there were looooooads of monkeys, including some tiny little babies holding onto their mums it was absolutely amazing! we also did a boat trip for a day going around the island, we were taken to mya bay where the beach was filmed and a load of other beaches which was really nice. have jus arrivedin bangkok now before headin upto laos with andy, us stopping off there before vietnam.
