ok so have niow arrived in Laos at a place called luang Prabang. Took 2 and a half days to get here from chang mai. !st a mini bus to chang kong on the border, then a 2 day slow boat to here. But a bit of catching up before i got to laos!

left bangkok after 3 nites with bethany. After a while the hustle and bustle caught up with us!! so took a ntie train to chang mai. Took bout 12hrs or so but was fun! met some really nice ppl and had a bed and a fan and i can pretty much sleep anywhere so tis all good! then arrived in chang mai and checked into a really nice guest house pretty cheap with the added bonus of a pool! went to the nite bazar and then the following day went on a cookery course. Cooked 6 dishes eat so now a gourmet thai chef!!

then went on a three day trek throught the jungle. It was absolutely fantastic. Went with 9 irish guys who were such a laugh, there was so much banter. Also three argentinaians who were really nice : )

stayed with the local tribes ppl which was amazing, completely back to basics but well worth the experience. The trekking itself was pretty tough lots of up hill and it was really hot but loved it all. Went on an elephant trek, did some bamboo rafting and played soccer with the local kids. cannot tell u how good it was!

then had a day chilling before taking the 2 day slow boat from chamg kong to arrive here. Gunna have a few days here see the waterfalls then head to to Vang Vien to do some tubing which will be fun!
