We arrived at Villa de Leyva on 7th December which coincided with the Catholic festival of candles ( something to do with the Virgin Mary, who they’re pretty hot on). Aside from me sleeping on the couch under the dog blanket, it’s been a great success. 70mph winds and torrential monsoon rain didn’t stop the zoomies on the beach.
