It's been a very stressful chicken day today. After saying I ate anything but chicken, I immediately thought, oh crap, I shouldn't have said that. So dinner was camel. I was also taken to the local animal market with chickens everywhere - tied up, in tiny cages, upside down. I spent the whole time staring down at Ali's crotch to save myself looking at traumatic chicken scenes rolling out before me.

We have driven down the coast today, through little fishing villages and lots of wasteland which reminds me of my tulip holiday where we used to pitch up on a rubbish dump and then I'd try and look interested for 3 hours while everyone was on their hands and knees looking at weeds. We stopped at a fort (being renovated but nice dogs there) and a gorgeous little town full of narrow alleyways and blue doors. Tea is in an hour or so and I really should summon up the energy to go for a walk along the coastline.
