Sorry a bit late with yesterday's post. It was a big big day. We had a lovely home cooked breakfast of blueberry bread pudding and Turkey sausage, yoghurt, fruit and biscuits (scones), coffee with chicory. Well a big day travelling but finally arrived at this beautiful place. Thanks to Brett for such a warm welcome and as you can see by my photo Australian Flag hung out the front to greet us. Well we have come to the last day of our trip. We do a bit of last minute shopping then take the train out to the Olympic Stadium. Really lovely out there lots of parkland and water. Very modern looking for something that is 40 years old. We are leaving here at 3.20 for a 3 hr train ride to Frankfurt then we have an 6 hr 20 min flight to Dubai leaving at 10.40 pm. Today we all did different things after meeting about 10 and wishing Liz a happy birthday. As usual we always seem to have a big night the night before someones birthday. I was feeling very Ill from the previous night so I went back to bed. Liz and Danos went on the on/off bus. Scott did a walking tour. Today we have breakfast and then we have to get our luggage from Citadines (where we last stayed in Munich). The plan is to get some cabs the boys will drop us off at our new hotel with our luggage then they will go over to Citadines to get the rest of our luggage that we left behind.
