Hey everyone!

Well we are in San Antonio, Texas just now! The internet in the hotel in Orlando was too expensive but here it is freeee:)

We loved our hotel in Orlando! It was huge! There were about 7 buildings and over 700 rooms so it was a huge resort built around a lake. It has two big pools, many jacuzzis, a basketball court and a fitness centre. Our room was lovely and we had a microwave and a fridge which was really handy:) The grounds of the hotel were lovely as well as you will see from some of my photos.

On our first full day there all we did was get settled in and went in search of a supermarket which we found:) Also Daniel played a little basketball. I played for about 30 seconds before i decided it was too hot:) Then on our second day unfortunatly we had no choice but to stay in our room all day as there was a massive thunderstorm that went on all day and night! There were even tornado warnings at points. There were some tornados that materialised in Florida but luckily not near us! At one point i was sitting half looking out the window when i saw a huge ball of light and then it sounded like a bomb had gone off! A bolt of lightning had either hit the roof of our hotel or just outside on the ground. It was pretty scary and gave us both a big fright. It switched our T.V off aswell which was weird as it didn't effect anything else.

The next day it had completely cleared up and was boiling! This was when we went to Universal Studios which was really good:) We went on The Simpsons ride and Shrek 4D which were far too scary for me. I was surrounded by kids and i seemed to be the one that was the most scared! We also went on Twister, Jaws, E.T, Woody wood pecker coaster (a wee kiddies coaster) and Terminator 3D. We had a really good time. I also won a wee owl soft toy in an arcade:) It only cost me a $1.

The next day we spent most of the day down by the pool which was really nice. They had the main pool and a jacuzzi which is quite a weird feeling as i have never sat in a jacuzzi in the boiling sun! I did get a little burnt though! Oops! After that we went back to the basketball court and Daniel played basketball with some guys that were there whilst i lazily watched! We then had a look around some of the shops that were in the mall right next to our hotel. Dangerous i know!

On our last day all we did was pack and take some photos of the hotel:)

Today we had to get up really early so we are both really tired just now. Our flight was 3 hours long and we arrived well before check in time which is at 4pm here but we got to go straight to our room:) The hotel is really nice! It is a very very old hotel (100 years) and our room has a four poster bed! Just shows if you hunt around you can find somewhere cheap and nice!

We are just settling in today and we haven't got anything planned yet but we will let you know what we have been up to soon!
