I cannot believe how quickly my flying visit really went. Managed to catch up with most people but missed out on seeing a few special ones :(.
To those who I caught up with......it was fantastic to see you all, hear all your news and share many stories/ food/ wine with you.
To those who I didn't get to see.....I can only say if I could have cloned myself I would have got to see everyone but unfortunately I haven't mastered that skill yet.
Had a wonderful visit but hearing all the woes from my ex-workplace has only reinforced my decision to take up this adventurous new life.....treated with respect, appreciated for what I do, and the added bonus of meeting and befriending some really fantastic people....how good can it get???
Got a surprise visit from my son who is based in Sydney( whom I didn't think I would see) and that just topped off a great holiday.
So now its the long trip back to China....three flights....boring airports....stressing about flying with the uneasy feeling of a panic attack about to start at any minute. I will be exhausted by the time I arrive in NANJING at 1320 tomorrow......mostly from stress. Luckily I have a few days to settle in before I start my new job.
And so a new adventure begins.......I can't wait to start and will keep you all posted with regular blogs.
