Hi Ray, Yes this was a fantastic trip and very safe. The people of the Stans are friendly and welcoming. It is such a privilege to be able to experience the countries and cultures of this part of the world. Alcohol was freely available. Local beers were very reasonably priced and certainly quenched a thirst!! Wine was OK but more expensive than Australia.

Hi Ray, accommodation has been good and even the night in the yurt was comfortable. Interestingly we have had no problems getting local beer to drink!!

Extremely rugged terrain Kate. Is your accommodation of a reasonable standard in most towns? Stay well. What about the alcohol intake? I'd suggest extremely limited to zilch?
