I am sitting in the Qantas lounge at Hong Kong airport waiting for my third and FINAL flight. Arrived safely in Hong Kong and then had to work out if I was a transit passenger or did I have to go through customs......after much fuss it was decided I was "in transit" and therfore not go through customs till I was in mainland China. The joys of waiting at an airport....flight delayed for one hour....flight delayed again - give passenger a meal voucher....third time lucky and we finally depart for China 3 nearly 3 hours later.
