Stopped off about 2am for a loo break and then managed to pretty much sleep until we reached Khao San road in Bangkok so the journey wasn't too bad! Jumped in a taxi to my hotel, Lebua! Thought I would treat myself for the last night of my trip with a five star hotel, it's where they filmed the hangover 2 so pretty cool!! Arrived at 7am and could t check in until 2 so dumped my bags and went for a swim before falling asleep on the sunbed! Grabbed a Starbucks to wake myself up and got a taxi to the local markets, I wanted proper Thailand markets, all hot and sticky and loud and haggling but the taxi driver took me to a really nice indoor one, so jumped in another taxi (they cost less than £2!) and found what I was looking for! Wondered round for ages and bought loads of stuff that I have been looking at everywhere I have been but haven't wanted to carry round with me!! Bought a new rucksack as well to fit everything in! Grabbed a subway for lunch and then headed back to the hotel.
Was totally blown away by my suite, definitely worth the money! It is amazing! Spent some time sorting all my stuff out and then had a bath whilst listening to jazz music, never been so happy about having a bath!! Chilled out for a while and then went to the sky bar on the roof for a cocktail, got to make the most of it!! Tried the 'hangovertini' which was made especially for the cast and crew when they filmed The Hangover here! Was really nice, came with a sprig of Rosemary! Random! Then had a couple of passion fruit martinis, my absolute favourite! Cost me over £40 for 3 drinks but so worth it! Headed back to my room and ordered room service as the restaurants were ridiculously expensive, like 5000 baht per meal which is about £100! So had a steak sandwich which was excellent! Put a film on, set my alarm for 4:30am and fell asleep for the last night on my travels!
