What an amazing day!!!

Up early to get the train into Sydney (they have double decker trains- got far too excited about this!) The scenery on the journey was incredible, like being in the middle of a rainforest, not what I imagined of Australia at all!

I then climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge!! It was incredible! Spectacular views and the rain stopped and the sun came out just as we were reaching the top- perfect! 345 metres above Sydney Harbour- pretty high but it was amazing! Took 3.5 hours so was exhausted by the end of it!!

Had a kangaroo and emu pizza afterwards to regain some strength and then walked around circular quay- great views of the bridge and the Sydney Opera House- brought back a lot of memories of being there when I was 11! Forgot my selfie stick but still managed to get some good pictures!

Then had a wander around the Botanical Gardens, followed by a beer in Circular Quay before heading home on the train (where I fell asleep!)
