I met a Dutch girl with inflatable shoes last week, phoned her up to arrange a date but unfortunately she'd popped her clogs - bum, bum!!
Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly; but when they lit a fire in the craft, it sank, proving once and for all that you can't have your kayak and heat it - bum, bum!!
I said to the Gym instructor "Can you teach me to do the splits?". She said "How flexible are you?". I said "I can't make Tuesdays" - bum, bum, bum!!
I hope the above effort is appreciated - keep your chins up, the weather will soon improve. And, try and make the Liverpool game when you're in Bern.
Lots of love,
Dad. xxxxx

Very sorry for the lack of messages - I have been busy delivering and collecting the catalogues of misery that are Betterware. I delivered AND collecting 231 catalogues today and my pedometer told me that I walked 5.6 miles and guess how much I earned? 60p. 60-flamin'-good-for-buying-a-newspaper-on-a-cheap-day-only-p. Not impressed. I feel my mood could rival yours except for the fact that Southport lived up to it's name as it was very sunny today, very blue sky and quite warm =D 21 degrees celcius no less. Why isn't there a degrees button on a keyboard? I think that is a tad silly. It took me forever to find it in Word when writing up my Chemistry assessment stuff.
Annnnyways, yes, so, indeed, very nice weather today and I s'pose that I should be pleased that adding my new earnings to my current Uni account balance brings it to one English pound exactly. No longer in 0.something pounds so by the end of this message I am no longer annoyed, I am quite elated now atually =D
Well, I'm going to make some toast now - sorry, didn't mean to rub the whole beans-on-bread thing in but if it makes you feel any better, I have ran out of Soya butter so I shall really be having some warm hard bread..
Toodle-pip and all that jazz xXx
Mum
Hi to you both from sunny Ormskirk where the 21st celebrations started on Thursday and ended this evening with another barbeque to use up some of the food prepared for yesterday! Thedifference was tonight was in sun, last night was rather cooler!
The party was cheery but we missed you both. We had around 55 and I'm sad to say we didn't save either of you a plate of food. I can explain in detail the food that went down really well to make your mouths water but that would be unkind...... oh well...... (savoury mufins, olive scones, smoked salmon canapes, followed by the kebabs, salads etc etc, strawberries, tiramasu, stick ytoffees and and and....!
The garden looked lovely with its bunting and twinkly lights and we've plenty of photos. Jenny's going to put them on facebook for you! (a step too far for me I'm afraid!)
What else? We missed you both and we'll have to do something special on your return which isn't too far away now!
Sorry to hear about your lack of enthusiasm for Innsbruck. Put it down to experience..... Berne may offer better kit (a toaster) and perhaps a better environment given you're now experienced travellers and have great expectations!
What now? Well I think I deserve total control of the remote and a whole couch to myself!
Miss you loads. No other news to report at the mo. Melissa, Crouch is definitely sold to Portsmouth. By the way we are now officially season ticket holders..... woop (in your tongue!) no comments from other message boarders please!!
Speak soon!
PS flip flops help with pongy feet as does soap and water!!!
Mum & Dad xxxx
PPS Mel in response to your complaint about no messages..... last night at the party I did a group message which took forever (because it was written under a gazebo, in the dark, with lots of cheer) and it ended up with Aunty Anne who managed to lock it in cyberspace.... sorry about that - you were definitely in our thoughts and minds!!! Neil

Howdy folks!
Hope all is swell in camp adventure! I just checked my collegio emails (Paul in all his wisdom managed to get our computer infected with some spyware thingybob and now none of my emails are working, so had to start using the college one. Honestly that lad sometimes....) and was greeted by a marvellous email from the van gogh museum no less! Short and sweet eh ladies!
Thats pretty much it....actually some news that may have winged its way to you but maybe not (can your budget stretch to a newspaper every now and then? Then again it'd be foreign...never mind!) anyway so a man's had a baby appharently! Come back with any thoughts you have on that! He could settle alot of 'what hurts worse..' arguments i suppose!
Have fun my dears!

ps ill say hi to george for you when i see him...
Emma
Yay for the uploading of pictures! I see you have not yet managed to figure out how to turn the sideways ones round? I now have a crick in my neck - fit.
I am very amused by the fact I have to solve a sum in order to post a message.. good job I took maths last year (y)
Anyways, being very jealous of the 4x4 rubix cube and also being very skint, I am off to go a-job-hunting to replace the god awful part time one I have of being a Betterware (yes.. Betterware) catalogue distributor.. yes.
Wishing you lots of fun, sun and happy times xx

Hello dears!!!!
Me and the rents have just had some form of laughing fit reading the last blog good work, i'm glad you didn't spend all of your money on useless momentos of childhood when there is one of those gameboy things probs sat in the loft|!!!!!

Marg
look forward to reading your news. Have you solved the 4x4 Rubuk yet?
it's now 10.15 and still waiting for Jenny to come home..........We haven't wished her Happy Birthday or given her card and pressie. I wonder what Nannie Hogan has in the offing?
Andrew said he tried to write to you but got muddled up (for one so brainy), I think I'll have to give a spot of tuition this weekend.
Sarah and Shad have moved into their new house - really nice and new and clean, not like the student places they have been in before. It's a modern terraced house with all mod cons.
Carry on having a wonderful time
love Auntie Marg x
Dad (Glyn)
Oh, by the way ....... still no farther news on the football front, oh except Crouch has passed his medical at Portsmouth!!

Hi There,
You dynamic Duo!!
Just returned from pub but, no blog update!! what's going on? you have an audience back here that hangs on evey word that you type - so, get your act together.
Anyways, I'll just update you with my news. I got my usual 60 day warning to update my passwords that i get so, I did so, and guess what, I couldn't log into any of my applications after changing my password - not good.
It took the IT guys 5 hours to sort out the mess that my passwords were in - effecient, i'd say not.....
Enough of you, let's talk about me ......... I mean, enough of me, let's talk about you .......... Hang in there and keep us updated as to your moves.
Love you loads,
Dad. xxxx

Hello Travellers!
I'm terribly sorry I haven't written for a while...I had a bit of a to-do with the message board a few days back when it deleted paragraphs of well thought out message, so I have been sulking for a while. I hope you're havving lots of fun! You seem to be getting along great! Enjoy Vienna and keep us posted (you have done a marvellous job so far, I must say!)
You haven't missed a wink back home! Jenny has gone to Megaluf, so Taylor and myself are the only ones left flying the flag for the FF =( We did go to see that German feller's crazy work though...there was even a flayed gorilla with its giblets out...nice.
Apart from that nothing to report. It has been raining here like it's just learned how, especially today. I think it has just stopped, but there was a rather uplifting 5 hour session!
I hope that the weather has been much kinder to you. Keep going you two! I hope your little journals are up to date too, because I can't wait for some of the stories...the skirmish between the pigeon and the peacock will go down in history!
