So we headed for Uruguay.

Boarded a ferry then a bus for 5 five hours and arrived in La Paloma! A lovely little town with a surfers beach! Perfect.

We found a hostel right on the beach front, which was perfect and spent three days just chilling out and drinking maté!

The sea was quite warm and the waves were quite strong and good fun! We saw a jellyfish get washed up and some crabs too!

I got splashed by a little local lad, who bombed into the sea right in front of me, then chased me up the beach kicking the water at me! Cheeky little sod! Ha! Was good fun though and in the end i got him back!

The people were lovely and the sun was hot, after three days relaxing we headed to the capital city, Montevideo.

We spent just one day in the city, and to be honest were both quite glad. There wasnt alot to see or do. We bumped into Mike, who we had met down in Patagonia, and was nice to spend the day with him and have a few beers.

Then it was back on a bus, headed back to BA to then head up to Iguazu falls!!
