Hi everyone!

So we are in Cochabamba and have been since the 30th Dec 2010! We leave tonight and head for Santa Cruz!!

Cochabamba has been lovely! Its alot warmer here, so don´t feel like as much of a wally wearing flip flops!! ha! We are a lot lower (altitude wise) and you can really notice breathing being much easier!!

Its really pretty here, and has a real holiday feel. The people are lovely too. Its a bit more western though but there are loads of ice cream places with massive sundaes and sauce and cake!!!

We arrived here in the middle of the night, which wasn´t great, bit scary, and we didn´t have a clue where we were going! But we managed to find somewhere that was actually open! It was ok for the night, but a bit weird, Jon had to be asked to be let out of the locked doors when he wanted to pop to the shops, and they were a bit pushy insisting they deliver our breakfast when i was still sleeping, So we left. And found somewhere else!

Explored the town and went up in the gondola to see the giant jesus statue! Apparently its bigger than the one in Brazil! But we´ll see!

We also explored the gigantic markets! Really busy, and full of all sorts! Bit like dagenham sunday market! But better and more random! ha! On our way out of the markets come across a few manic stalls selling loads of New Years dress up stuff!! Treated Jon to a tie! ha! and i get a very lovely headband! sparkles and everything! Or sparklets (littleviews Albert)!!!

Lovely dinner and drinks! countdown in spanish, getting good at one to ten in spanish!! ha! got my bottom pinched by a dodgey looking child as we walk along back to the hotel!! And awake with food poisoning! Not a great start to 2011!! ha!
