Hope everything is OK with you, although i have to tell you (Ed) that you are being missed - at half-term Vicki, Nigel and the kids came to stay. On their way home they called at your mum and dad's to say Hi and show off the new babe. Ellie wanted to know where the boy who had sweets was!!!!!!! So you've got to get home quick 'cos Ellie is missing her sweets
Your Mum got some toys out for Taylor to play with, including the Ref Apple that plays musicalnotes when you move it, which Ellie played with with Taylor. When they got home Vicki got out the one she had, but Ellie wouldn't let her use it as she said the it belonged to the lady with the big house. How do i know all of this you ask, well me and Sue managed to sample the culinary expertise of the Barn B & B on the Saturday, and don't worry we didn't sleep in your bedroom, in fact we didn't go in there, except for a quick search for sweeties that might inadvertently been left behind.
How is the weather with you, warmer i hope. We've been experiencing something of an indian summer here (in Barmby at least) even up to the end of October it was warm enough to sit out if you were in the sun - if this is global warming - bring it on.
Well that's about it so far, got to start looking at deciding what to have for tea, so will leave you for now.

Today's Joke:
A man walks into a pub with an ostrich and a p**** cat. He goes up the bar and says: "Beer for me, beer for the ostrich, whisky for the cat." The unlikely trio find a table, sit down and drink their drinks. Next, it's the ostrich's round. He walks up to the bar and says: "Beer for me, beer for the man, whisky for the cat." Then the ostrich takes the drinks back to the table and they drink them. When it comes to the cat's turn to buy a round, he simply tells his pals to "Sod off!" So the man goes back to the bar and asks for another two beers and a whisky. Impressed at his generosity, the barman says: "I notice that you and the ostrich have both bought a round but the cat hasn't. Why do you hang out with him?" The man replies: "I once helped a little old lady across the road, and she turned out to be my Fairy Godmother. She granted me one wish, which landed me with the cat and the ostrich forever." "What did you wish for?" enquires the barman. "A long-legged bird with a tight p**** #8230;"
and a very old Tommy Cooper Joke:
Two fat blokes in a pub, one says to the other: "Your round." The other one says: "So are you, you fat b******

You seem to be finding more and more exotic places ,some of them we have seen too .Yes you are right N.Z. is awesome -there are no words to describe it ,esp .the South Island.I remember going up in a helicopter over Fox's Glacier and walking barefoot in the snow at the top-I kept losing my shoes!!!!!So exhilharating-but that's what travel is all about .I see you are now in FIJI -if you find a bottle of suncream PIZ BUIN on a rock on the beach please send it back by registered post asap.!!!!!
Pity you missed the RUGBY WORLD CUP -it has been very exciting here in France-big screens etc.etc.and such a great atmosphere .A shame about the result in the Finals-poor old England lost against South Africa but they have nothing to be ashamed of .
Meanwhile continue to enjoy your travels sent with our love Catherine and Gordon.xx

Hi there Ed and Kate,
Sorry we have not been in touch for a while, but have been down at Vicki's (without the computer) as she did her back in and we have been helping to look after the kids. She got up during the night to feed Taylor and her back just went (probably a muscle spasm, according to the doctor). So we have spent a week doing the cooking, taking kids to school, washing, cleaning etc. It's nice to get back home for a rest!
Looking at the photos, supposedly taken in Santiago, i notice that there is one of the Glen Tramway. This re-inforces my belief that you are really hiding at Dobrudden Caravan park and have not gone anywhere at all.
One other thing that I've noticed - is Awesome a "Travelling" word, it seems to appear pretty regularly in your descriptions or is it that you're having so much beer that you are forgetting your english.
Anyway that's enough for now, hope you get to Fiji OK. Enjoy
Love
Kevin and Sue
Today's Joke:
Ancient History Explained...
A team of archaeologists found a slab of rock with 5 figures carved on it, in order:
A Woman, A Donkey, A Shovel, A Fish, A Star of David.
After months of study, the leader took the rock and went on a lecture tour. He said the carvings were thousands of years old but even so, they revealed a lot about the people of that time.
The woman being placed first in the line of figures showed that women were held in very high esteem - most likely a family oriented culture.
They probably used the donkey to till the fields. The shovel shows they were highly intelligent as they knew how to make tools. The fish shows they knew how to augment the crops they raised by also reaping from the sea. The Star of David of course indicates they were a very religious group of people.
A little old man in the front row finally got the attention of the speaker.
When acknowledged he said, "I'm sorry to blow your conclusions but you were reading it left to right. In Hebrew we read from right to left.
That way it reads, "Holy Mackerel, Dig the Ass on that Chick!"
