We had wanted to get an early start this moring because we had a long way to travel and the inland tracks take so long, but as our car was broken we had to wait for the mechanic to arrive. He was meant to be there at 6am but made it at 7am. He couldn't fix it there and then so it stuck the gearbox back together with duct tape! and told us to follow him back to his workshop. There are parts of teh beach taht we are not allowed to drive through because we are inexperienced and the conditiosn can change very quickly and bits are so dangerous, but as he was in front of us he lead us through teh rocks which is a part of thebeach which is just rocks and teh waves can scome in suddenly, in fact the week before somone from the same company as us got there car stuck there, and it got washed away! Its also really dangerous as its very easy for the4x4 to tip over! But as he lead us through it, it was fine. Johan did a really good job of driving us too. It took us 30 mins to get as far as it had taken us 2 days to do by going inland!

So we relaxed at Eulong whilst he fixed it and made it to Lake Mackenzie hours before the other groups so got enjoy its beauty. Was amzing, postcard perfect.

We then had lunch before driving back to get the 4pm ferry. We had 2 pump our tyres back up as we would not be driving on sand any longer, but the machine broke so we had 2 wait a while before the fixed it, just in time or us to get our ferry.

We arrived back to return our car and then went back to hostel where we all had showers, (amazing after not being able to have showers for 3 days!)

Then we all got pizza and had a few drinks and played a few games before saying goodbye to Johan and Sarah who were leaving that night and then went to bed. (Fortunatley no bed bugs this time!!)
