Today we got up in our minging hostel (literally so dirty and the bathrooms were outside in a shack!!- wouldn't recommend staying at Main Beach Backpackers!!) and promptly rang the hostel down the road and booked rooms for tommorrow and Friday!

We then headed down to the beach, after a few days of rain, the sun was out in full force so we borrowed some body boards and headed down there after having a little wander round the town.

After a while basking in the sun we headed into the sea to make full use of the free body boards and massive waves. The waves and current were very strong though so after being dragged over the rocks we emerged from the sea slightly more damaged then we went in with cuts covering us!

Was good fun, but I think we might wait until Surfers where the waves are meant 2 be smaller before we try that again! We then headed back to hostel where we showered etc before heading to the shops!

We then read books for a bit before cooking dinner and booking our Fraser Island and Whistsundays package. Then we were shattered so had an early night.
