Hey all!!

Its my turn to write, i hope you're all well!!! It is unbelieveably hot here, we are a currently in Siam Reap and will be leaving tomorrow morning by bus to go to Phom Pen.

It took 10 hours to get here from Bangkok and we had to catch various buses and cross the border on foot, and then get a taxi for 3 hours along a really bumpy road, and then finally get a tuk tuk into town, where they tried to fob us off at this dingy guesthouse down some back alley, but we stood our ground and walked for a bit until we found the guesthouse we wanted and have been staying there since. It struck us how green Cambodia is in comparison to Bangkok, and Siam Reap is really nice, they have really nice hotels at shopping centres etc and a lovely little street with al the restaurants and bars along there....So all in all we love Siam Reap!! its so laid back here!!

Yesterday and today we hired a tuk tuk to take us to Ankor Wat to see the temples, which was a really amazing experience, they're absolutely stunning and me and G scaled some of them....although i was basically rock climbing the stairs while Gareth just strided on up with his big bandy legs!! This morning was a really early start so we got up in time to see the sunrise over one of the temples which was tiring but well worth it!! It was a stunning view! We also decided to get a bit of culture and saw some traditional cambodian dancing last night where we had drinks and chatted to an Oz lady we had met!! And we checked put the night market which had great stalls and stuff to buy and a nice bar in the middle where the staff were really friendlyy, so hopefully we'll go back tonight if we have time!

So that brings me to the here and now! im hopeing to go for a massage but we'll have to see what happens....maybe a bit more shopping as well :D

So anyone, on to Phon Penh!!
