Hi everyone,

We're spending our last night in Bangkok and wanted to let you know what we've been up to. After our 11 hour flight, we got a taxi ride with a lovely driver to the D & D Inn on Khao San Road where we met up with Lucy and Ben (my sister and her boyfriend) which was so nice as they have already done the south east asia loop. We went out for dinner with them and had quite a late night as we had a lot to catch up on!

Tuesday was our sightseeing day and with a few tuktuk rides we managed to see the sitiing buddha, standing buddha and the giant reclining buddha. But ost impressive was the grand palace which was beautiful, very ornate and shiny in the sun! It was an exhausting day though as it's so hot here, so we relaxed by the rooftop pool of our hotel with Luce and Ben before heading out for another thai meal and some cocktail buckets too!

Today we just relaxed and did some shopping! Han, jess and nat you'll be proud of what i've bought!! The Khao San Road is full of market stalls with lovely dresses and skirts etc that are so cheap!! Heaven ...

Then we chilled out by the pool with Luce and Ben since they had to leave at 6 to get a bus to Kho Phi Phi which was quite sad as it's been so nice seeing them. Tomorrow we'll be up at 6.30 to go to Cambodia and our next blog entry will no doubt be after we've visited the amazing Angkor Wat!
