Arrived in Noosa after Byron Bay quite late on, you could tell instantly that it was a beautiful place and different to the other places we have recently visited, it was more of a picturesque town with a beach as well, which unfortunately we never had the chance to see as we were only there for one day/two nights and the weather wasn't the best.
When we arrived on the first night we did plan to buy some food from the supermarket as we have been eating out a lot more than planned but again things didn't work out that way as it was a Sunday and the shops were now closed, oops. The hostel was in the middle of a residential road and it was like a whole different world when you got inside, more like a little holiday African Village. We were recommended to try the fresh fish and chips down the road so we went for wander along the riverside observing the yachts and boats at sail and taking in the peaceful views. We had our own large choice of fresh fish and decided to share chips and salad, which we then took to a well maintained picnic area and followed many others and enjoyed our romantic meal together watching the sunset...
The next day the weather put a downer on things and stopped our plans of packing up and going for a picnic in the national park, so instead we wandered in to the town centre and wasted our day! Would like to go back to Noosa because we have heard it's a nice place and feel we haven't got the bast out of it.
Can we just say that this was an alcohol free stop, lol!!
