Have finally left Queensland and are now in New South Wales. We have lost an hour due to daylight saving so we are now eleven hours ahead, factor this in mum if you ring!

Been to surfers paridise and visited the 20th highest building in the world. Yes the 20th highest! It is funny what places claim to fame are! The beaches are beautiful on this part of the coast. Every beach we see Carl asks "Is this where they filmed Home & Away?" The boy is obsessed!

Went to a comedy club last night. It was funny, no pun intended, to see how comedy is different out here. They are a lot more....blunt but still hysterical.

Made it to Byron Bay now. Home of the hippies so I love it. Lots of mad crystal shops and incense. Also slightyly mental tarot readers/palm readers/spiritualists etc but we have not been suckered into that yet. I know our future, we are of to New Zealand in a week!

Been straying from our new found healthy lifestyle and have been binging on ice cream. I dont know who has more of a sweet tooth, Carl or I!

Looking at some skydives over here. Think it may be cheaper than waiting till Sydney. Not sure though as the banks keep locking us out of our accounts and refuse to believe we are abroad! Idiots.
