Sligo! Pronounced Sly-go, we kept getting it wrong. On our way we went through the quaint town of Donegal and stopped for a quick look at the Donegal castle. Stroke city! Londonderry/Derry is sometimes referred to as stroke city as some people call it Londonderry, and some Derry. It's quite a controversial topic in the region between locals, so we avoided calling it anything while we were there. We left Belfast at about 1pm and drove along the Causeway Coast Route. First day on the road! The car we have is a little manual, and seeing as I don't drive a manual at home Aleesha started the day off driving. We swapped later in the day when we were off the tricky little city streets so I could get the hang of a manual again before I had to do any difficult driving. Dublin! And so the roadtrip begins. Our flight landed at about 1.30pm on Monday and we met up with Aleesha at the airport. Roma! We arrived into Rome at about 6pm on Wednesday, we're staying with Pascale and Alessio (a couple Malaika knows) in the centre of Rome in their apartment.
