Cork! After leaving Killarney it was a short hour drive to Cork. We checked into our hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our accommodation- a triple room, one double and two singles, in a huge room and the hotel has a leisure centre complete with gym, sauna, spa, steam room and pool. All for the same price as we've been paying for a hostel! We had an extremely relaxing day hitting up the gym (my poor body's in shock), then the steam room, pool for a few laps and the spa to relax ourselves. We had a picnic lunch in our room for dinner whilst watching trashy tv shows- exactly what we needed. We decided we liked Cork so much so stayed another night there.
Wednesday we explored the town, went for a drive to Blarney, and hit the town that evening. We watched a local band, and then hung out with them at the pub when they'd finished.
Thursday we took advantage of the late checkout, headed into town for breakfast before getting back on the road.
Next stop, Kilkenny!
