Hello ladies. Glad to hear that you are both safe and well after certain events. However it seems that you've put yourselves more at risk when you were surfing! Broken surf boards, huge waves, deserted beach- were these not clues to you both! Well you were very brave anyway even to attempt- you'll never get me on a surf board, don't think i'd like the tight wetsuit! Glad to hear that you are shopping lots! Somethings never change. Have heard before that Bali is amazingly cheap- particularly things like trainers and t shirts. Keep on buying!Love your photos- very funny. And how cute is Azam!

Hi guys. We have decided to stay put in Bali. We're not going to let those b******s ruin our holiday!!!! I know it's scary that we're staying, but as long as we stay away from the touristy parts, there shouldn't be a problem......We figured that people still live in London after the bombs there, so that made our decision for us.
We even went out to a bar last night - was very scary as obviously it's constantly on your mind. It's gone very quiet here as most tourists here were Australian, and many of them have flown home, so it's a bit of a ghost town at the moment.
We tried surfing for the first time yesterday - at the end of the day we found out that even the experienced sufers hadn't been out as the waves were so big and the current was too strong, but we battled it out and gave it a go (we didn't manage to surf, but we tried!!!!) We thought the beach was empty because people had left after the bomb!!! It was so difficult - but now we know it was because the sea was so rough!!!! Doh!! We saw people walking back with broken surfboards as the sea was so bad!!!!!
We'll give it another go when the sea dies down.
Try not to worry - people are keeping spirits up and trying not to let this horrible event ruin their holidays as I guess that's what the bombers want.

Alreet. Glad to hear you guys are ok and sorry to hear of what has happened over there, I cant understand how people can do that to each other and Im sure its harder for you being there.
