After waking up and noticing thankfully that we hadn't been eaten by the crocs we had our brekky. After this we hit the road. Kakadu National Park wasn't too far from here. We had been in two minds as to whether we Kakadid or Kakadidn't! We decided against Kakadu. It sounded like it was going to be much too touristy for us and possibly a lot like Litchfield National Park which simply hadn't done it for us. After brekky we left the rather wonderful and quirky Daly Waters. It had been a proper good Aussie outback experience. We hit the Stuart highway heading further north. We drove about 300 kilometres today to Katherine and onto Nitmiluk National Park, the home of Katherine Gorge. The heat hit us when we left the air conditioned cool of the camper van's cab. It was even hotter here than at Daly Waters. We had a look round the visitors centre and then went for a walk...
