We had a lovely quiet but hot night. As site 13 was so good we decided to have a rest day and stay here for another night. First thing though we had to drive into Batchelor to get our gas bottle refilled as it ran out last night. Luckily it had gone literally just before we had finished cooking our tea. We drove to the servo and waited ten minutes whilst our bottle was refilled and then went back to our lovely site 13. After all the long drives we've done recently it was nice today to have covered just one solitary kilometre. Once back at the site we had brekky now we could get the grill going to make toast and the kettle on for coffee. We did the laundry after brekky as we haven't done any for ages and our clean knicker stock levels were getting critical! It was perfect drying weather as it was so hot today. After lunch we went to the swimming pool to cool down. The water was very refreshing. We enjoyed beers later and generally just had a great day relaxing. We head further north to Darwin tomorrow.
