Happiness Is The Road
It had rained overnight and was a bit murky first thing. We got up early and left the camp site before any happy clappy music blasted out and disturbed the lovely peaceful sound of nature. We drove to a place called Seal Rocks where we had breakfast. There was a bit of a dirt road to get there but this was a lovely little place right on the coast and it was our first view of the sea and the Pacific Ocean since we were on Bondi Beach about two weeks ago. It was great to see the ocean. The rain had stopped, the sky was blue, Seal Rocks was a lovely little bay and the sea looked beautiful, all shimmering and gorgeous in the morning sun. After brekky we had a walk down the beach and had a paddle in the sea. When we'd got our sea and sand fix we headed away from Seal Rocks. We decided to go to a campground in the Booti Booti National Park. This campground was essentially a big piece of grass but it wasn't too busy, it had showers and it was right next to a beach. We found a nice quiet spot and just chilled here for the rest of the day. The beach here was awesome, a massive stretch of sand curling round into the distance. We had another lovely beach walk and paddle here later on. We've noticed particularly today that the scenery is changing. It's become very sub tropical now with loads of palm trees. We're slowly heading up the coast now into the tropical part of Australia.
