At present in Noosa, Queensland. A nice quite place with a National park and beach. Its one of those places that time seems to have forgotten. Had a little picnic lunch overlooking the river, and some very nice riverside houses with their vast range of water toys parked up on the bay. Leave Noosa tomorrow for Rainbow beach/Fraser Island 4WD tour........should be heaps of fun!

Since my last blog entry I have moved on from Surfers paradise through to Brisbane where I stayed for 3 nights. I prefer Brisbane to Sydney for sure. Slightly smaller but still has that exciting buzz of a main city. When all that gets too much you can go and take some time out in the Botanical gardens or take a dip in the man-made lagoon on Southbank. Needless to say I took advantage of both of these experiences.

Each evening was spent in the bar beneath the hostel mainly for the sole reason that entry to the club was free and the meal and pint deals went down a treat! Yes this will come as a shock for those who know me.....I have had to resort to drinking beer for the mere fact that this is one of the cheapest forms of alcohol in OZ. However, Im not quite a lager lout yet.......I have to mix it with coke or cordial to make it tolerable. Been partying quite abit the past week or so........neither good for the body or the bank account so will try and kerb this for the next week or so. Poor liver. Endless amounts of entertainment! Non-stop dancing, Moustache nights, Live snakes in the bar for Steve Irwin night, Wet T competitions, and a rather disappointing strip tease. OZ is definitly a party Island!!
