Experieneced a different side to OZ; the cowboy country. Stayed a night at Kroombit cattle farm just North of Rockhampton. No mobile signal, metak wind turbine, and goat skeletans nailed to wooden posts. On arrival we purchased cowboy hats and bandana's just to try and blend in. Sleeping with the dingo's So Noosa was my last check in point. Since then I have been to Rainbow beach, Fraser Island, Hervey Bay, and am currently in Agnes Water/1770. Funny name for a town I hear you say.........named so because this was the year that Captain Cook landed here in Australia. At present in Noosa, Queensland. A nice quite place with a National park and beach. Its one of those places that time seems to have forgotten. Had a little picnic lunch overlooking the river, and some very nice riverside houses with their vast range of water toys parked up on the bay.
