Lastnight was so cold it hurt - I literally could not get warm even with thick jeans, socks, 3 shirts, jumper, jacket, scarf, beanie and 3 rugs. Today the weather was really crappy so I decided to head down the hostel and use the Internet for a few hours. The temperature is so cold here right now that I can feel the chill all the way to my bones and so I will try and book my bus ticket out of here for as soon as possible. Today was Cris's last day so after a small sleep-in we headed into the city and made our way up to Sasquahuaman - another famous archaeological site situated on a hill overlooking Cusco city. On the way we passed an interesting parade happening in the Main Plaza - we watched a little and then continued up the hill. Unfortunately it was nearly $30 to visit the site so we hoped we would be able to get a view from the road which the people even tried to stop us walk...
