Greetings from Thailand...

Well I survived the flight. Morgan was pretty good considering. I think I was a bit intoxicated to stress. Thai airways were fabulous, except maybe the food...f***ing mushrooms in everything!! All dinner meals had mushrooms, even the breakfast had mushrooms, couldnt believe it. I was beside myself. Made some friends from Switz & Russia on the flight from Bangkok to Phuket. Couldnt understand a word they said as they were muchos drunkeness most of the time, but had fun none the less.

We arrived in Phatong at 10am and I was over it already. Our taxi driver had my name written on a board "MR JAWINTWA GRANT" yeah...enough said. The taxi ride was a white knuckled affair. Seems the rule is get to where your going as fast as you can, all tactics are fair game!! And dont get me started on the smells.

Our resort is fabulous! Lazed around the pool bar most of yesterday. Started today with a Thai body massage & facial....yummie. Nearly s*** myself when the lady proceeded to jump up onto my bed and walk on me. But it was all good, enjoyed every bit of it. Lazed around the pool again till I had my Thai massage lesson....very interesting.

Heading to a show tonight. Fantasea....should be interesting. Markets tomorrow and Phi Phi on sunday.
