We dropped into Taliesin West on our way out of Scottsdale/Phoenix but didn't do a tour. Grant & I have been before but kids got a bit of a taste of Frank Lloyd Wright & we found the Lego Falling Water set. Something to occupy me while I'm on crutches if I can keep Mitch at bay. You'll notice his new Stetson. Spent way too long shopping this morning in Scottsdale for that baby. Some cost $600 but we got away with only $25. Arizona is unbelievably hot and dry as. Now in Sedona (listening to dragons v bunnies game at 2am, fanatical but knee keeps me up all night anyway) & went to star gazing excursion run by an ex-NASA guy. Beautiful night & pretty good event even though it was a full moon and a bit too light. Managed to see Polaris (north star), Sirius, Saturn, the moon & a few other constellations & also a spectrum (rainbow) from a star. Kids exhausted every night. Good thing we are going to rest in Fiji. Heading to Grand Canyon in morning & then Vegas. Huge drive coming up.
