Neighbours everybody needs good neighbours!!! Yes I'm sorry to say that I did the Neighbours tour today and it was great fun. Started at Ramsey Street and it was so tiny and very weird being outside the Robinson and Kennedy's house. We then went past Erinsborough High (a regular school) and various other buildings that doubled as Erinsborough Hospital/prison/news/airport.....! We also saw the roof of Lassisters through the trees as we had not paid for the full tour so couldn't see it - the roof was lovely all the same! We then went to Carpenters Mechanics and Grease Monkeys and we were told that one of the stars would be coming out from filming to meet us. I had just been saying that I really didn't care who it was as long as it wasn't someone new from the past 4 months since I've been travelling and haven't watched it...and it was Lucas, who the hell is Lucas?!! Well I know now and I did feel sorry for him as half of us had no idea who he was and didn't hide our disappointment. Was even more annoyed when he told us that it should have been Declan meeting us, I love Declan!! I still had my photo taken with him. Sorry for those of you who don't watch Neighbours but I know mum will enjoy reading this! Anyway, the tour was cheesy but fun and I have booked to go to the Neighbours Trivia Night where Dr Karl and his band are playing - bring it on!!
Anyway, enough about Neighbours. After the tour I went exploring again and got on a free tram which does a circle of the city. Had a look round the docklands which is very new and trendy then went to the Queen Victoria Market which was great and I bought a few souveniers. Met up with my friend in the centre and then got back on the tram and checked out Fitzoy Gardens and Cooks Cottage, a cottage where Captain Cook lived - very exciting. Am going out tonight with a work colleague of my sisters. Bye for now x
