Got back from sailing in the Whitsundays yesterday and it was amazing!!! Our boat Silent Night was really cool, there were only 12 of us but everyone was really nice and there were no couples which was good! I got to be a deckhand and helped to raise the sails and tie knots - don't think I would have been hired as a permanent member of staff despite my efforts! The captain was really funny but a bit pervy as he enjoyed giving the girls a hose down every time we had been in the sea a bit too much! We went snorkling and the water was so clear I saw some turtles just like in Finding Nemo. We went to Whitehaven Beach which is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen (even better than Phi Phi!) and saw loads of sting rays - I will put the photos on when I get a chance. We watched the sunrise and saw shooting stars at night, it was just perfect. Slept on deck on the second night and it was so nice waking up at sea, think I have found my new profession x
