We have had a very eventful day in Magnetic Island! Arrived early evening yesterday and the hostel is really nice overlooking the beach. Today 4 of us girls hired a pink Barbie type topless buggy to drive around the island which was so much fun. We went to the Koala sanctuary and I held a koala which was so cuddly but it didn't like me very much! I also held another baby croc, and a pretty big snake. There was also a large bird kind of like a parrot and I put a seed in my lips and it takes it from your mouth with its beak!!! It was so gentle and you don't feel a thing! Also licked the bottom of a green ant which tasted of lemon and made my tongue go tingly - it was part of the tour I didn't just start licking ant's bums for no reason!! We then got back in the buggy and drove to a really beautiful beach where we had a swim as there were jellyfish nets so it was safe. The island is so beautiful I wish I was staying longer but we leave for Airlie Beach tomorrow x
