We arrived in Miami on Monday the 16th, after an 8/1/2 hour journey, which went surprisingly quickly. Our hotel, which is quite basic, is situated right on South beach, which is gorgeous. The sea is so clear and there are sand banks so you can walk out to sea for miles!!! (maybe a slight exaggeration). We have spent the past two days chilly out on the beach and discovering happy hour in the numerous bars along the sea front, slush cocktail have to be a favourite. We have also found this really cute American dinner near our hotel where we have been going for breakfast. The food is delicious but portions are very generous!! not too good for our bikini diets!!! Our stay in Miaimi has been short and sweet as we are off to Trinidad tomorrow. It's probably a good thing though as who ever said America is cheap was wrong, may be it's just miaimi but I seem to have spent a fotune already!!!
